Returns & refunds

Please read all information first to see if your
purchase is  eligible for a refund or exchange

Refund and return policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since the date of your purchase, a refund or exchange cannot be offered. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

To complete your return, a receipt or proof of purchase is required and your request needs to be communicated to SaltyDreads first.

Non returnable items

Several items are exempt from being returned;
Custom orders of any kind, sale items, hair care products and all Dreadlock Extensions cannot be returned.

However if a product turned up damaged after shipping, a suitable solution will be offered in the form of a full or partial refund or the remake of your order. To become eligible, proof needs to be provided with pictures of the damaged product directly after receiving it.

Loss of shipment:
To find out if a shipment is lost, a search and claim needs to be made to the shipping company where it will vary per shipping company how long such a process will take. Only after the result of this search the refund or  remake (full or partial) of your order can be discussed and offered.

Refund after return:
Once your return is received and inspected, I will send you an email to notify you that I have received your returned item. I will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
In case of a refund or return, the original shipping cost can not be refunded.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment, within 7 days.
